Artist Statement on Glimmer:
I feel pleasant when I see the landscape of lights at houses while waking in a town. The stars above us shine our hearts. Sun shines tree leaves at morning and that gives us courage. Sunshine cheers us up and makes us want to get up. You feel lights from living in the moment. I see the lights in every thing. I want to paint a glimmer and want to expand it to infinity.
Yuka Goto, 2017
I was feeling worse since I fell sick, though it become a trigger of awareness of faith and engage to others, sparkles of my plants and rice-fishes, and to top it off, I aware that life is about creating by myself. I look for joy, happiness and believe to make a glimmer. I want to produce paintings that lighten up someone’s heart
