Artist Statement on Inspiration:

Is there someone else who lived in ancient times or will live in the future who would experience the same emotions and feelings as I do from everyday life, as myself who live in the current era? I imagined portraits and create imaginary world.  - Sachie Kashima

Interesting, useful, and beneficial information shared through social media and mail-order sites often leads to a variety of choices, interruptions or waiting for turns. It’s supposed to help calm anxiety, dissatisfaction or simply provide a break. However, I found myself, I was possessed to collect agreeable feelings. Facing these stored-up objects that had excited me before, in the end, I got to reselect what I needed right now. I wish I could choose the one in the first place to scramble disposable time. – Hideki Tarui
