Konomi Tani - Solo Show
Growing Everyday
Konomi Tani
Hiromart Gallery is delighted to announce the opening of Konomi Tani’s second solo exhibition, titled Growing Everyday.
The source of Tani’s inspiration comes from various elements, including lines, colors and shapes. She produces paintings with images from the accumulation of daily feelings and her subconscious mind. This time, the exhibition features new works exploring themes of growing up healthy everyday, vitality, the blossoming of flowers, and luxuriance – these themes resonate with her debut at the gallery in 2024.

Artist Statement on Growing Everyday:
I like to look at and observe plants. Plants growing around my home, and those encounters in a street by chance. They look like they live freely in their own time. While sometimes I finds them sad, sometimes I also recognizes their energetic and conscientious nature which can sometimes make them seem a bit scary.
They are alive! Glorious! – I feel deeply moved by their presence, and make the seeds of pleasure arise in my body. I want to paint freely while taking care of the seed.
